Kansas Wesleyan University announces the hiring of Fred Aubuchon as the Coyotes' new volleyball head coach.

Aubuchon replaces Rick Mischka, who left KWU after one season, to take a position as head men's and women's volleyball coach at Park University in Parkville, Missouri.

"Two years ago Kansas Wesleyan won the KCAC, but struggled last year," Aubuchon said. "It looks like Coach Mischka brought in some good recruits for 2009 and my hopes are to continue what he was building as well as work to achieve the success of the 2007 season."

Kansas Wesleyan was 12-23 last season under Mischka, but was 27-8 in 2007, and won the KCAC Regular Season and Post-Season Tournament Championships under Shawn Taylor, who spent just that season leading the Coyotes.

MOBILE, Ala. – On Thursday, Spring Hill College announced the hiring of Mobile Sports Hall of Fame member Dr. Peggy Martin as its head volleyball coach. Martin is the winningest coach in the history of NCAA Division II after 33 consecutive winning seasons at the University of Central Missouri where she compiled a 1,064-281-8 record.

Martin retired as the Jennies' coach and returned to her hometown of Mobile at the end of the 2008 season, but the opportunity to coach at SHC was too tempting to pass up.
