The Sioux City Sports Authority and the Events Facilities Advisory Board are pleased to announce that Blue Bunny will be the title sponsor for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Volleyball Championship this December. The event will be held December 2-6 at the Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca Nazarene University has hired Jayme Crowley as the fourteenth head coach in the history of the Trojan volleyball program.
Jayme Crowley recently completed her 14th season of coaching on the high school level with her third4-A Arizona State Championship. Crowley, a four-time Arizona Region Coach of the Year, has 22 years of head coaching experience that includes five seasons on the collegiate level.
The volleyball coaching position became available when Scott Jones passed away on June 21, 2008. Jones had been the Trevecca coach for 11 seasons.

TUCSON, Ariz. – Oklahoma City University volleyball coach Jen Salmans will help lead the Oklahoma team in the USA Volleyball High Performance Championships on July 23-27.
Salmans will be an assistant on Oklahoma's High Performance team featuring the top 16-and-under players in the state. Salmans has directed OCU to a 60-18 record in two years. The Stars were 34-10 and reached the NAIA Region VI semifinals this past season.

Gulbranson Resigns From Volleyball Post
Costa Mesa, Calif. - Vanguard University announces the resignation of head volleyball coach Erikka Gulbranson, who has brought consistency and success to VU's volleyball program over the past seven years and leaves as the winningest coach in Vanguard Volleyball history. A national search to fill the position will begin immediately.
Gulbranson joined the Vanguard coaching staff in July of 2001 and took over a struggling program that had seven head coaches in the preceding nine seasons. Providing stability and leadership, Gulbranson used her collegiate and international coaching experience to take the team from a three-win season to a winning record in her third year at the helm.
